How to Enter Russia in 2023

Find out the latest information about Russian e-visas and whether you can enter Russia without a visa.
No Visa is Required - Updated List for 2023

1. Citizens of these countries do not need visas for stays between 30 and 90 days (depending on the country). This refers to the majority of countries in the South America and Central America, and former CIS countries - their residents can stay in Russia without visa for up to 90 days.

TIP: This list has been constantly updating, please see the website of the Russian Embassy or Diplomatic Mission in your country to find out the latest information. Maybe you will not need a visa and we do not know about that yet:)
2. Passengers of tourist cruises entering Russia through Russian ports can stay in the country for up to 3 days, but only if they have tours booked with the local travel agencies (such as Carusel.Tours) and they should be accompanied by authorised travel guides throughout their stay.
Easy E-Visa for Nationals of 55 Countries since August, 2023.

The nationals of the countries below can apply for a one-time entry e-visa that will allow them to stay in Russia for up to 16 days. They can apply for an e-visa on the website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which works 24/7.

It takes only 4 calendar days (including state holidays and weekends) for the e-visa to be issued and it is valid for 60 days. It means, that the e-visa holder will be able to enter Russia at any time within this 60-days period, but only once.

If the nationals of these countries require a multiple visa for a longer period, they would still need to apply for an ordinary Russian visa through the embassy in their country.

The price of the visa will depend on the country. It is free for children up to 6 years old.
