Tour of Kolomna Neighbourhood and The Island of New Holland

Tour about one of the most interesting and authentic neighbourhoods of St. Petersburg with the visit of the island of New Holland, popular creative space and favourite recreational area of city residents
Do you want to know where the locals now spend their evenings and weekends? In new 'hipster' art clusters, like New Holland, where there are so many activities to enjoy in every season: yoga, sunbathing and open air cinema in summers, ice skating and Christmas shopping in winter, Maslenitsa celebrations in March, Russian designer shops, free lectures, bar hopping and delicious food tasting all year round!
New Holland is situated on a tiny island in the Kolomna Neighbourhood that housed docks, warehouses and the naval prison throughout its history. Kolomna is a very charming area that has it all - breathtaking mansions of the nobility along the Moika River, the famous Mariinsky Theatre and Conservatory, beautiful St. Nicolas Naval Cathedral and the Grand Choral Synagogue. We will take a ride around Kolomna and learn more about its multiethnic community that populated the area before the Revolution before exploring the New Holland Island.
Optionally, if we want to get a little bit closer to the sea, we will travel across the river to St. Basil's Island where the new creative space, Sevkabelport, is rapidly developing on the territory of the former factory.
