Moscow has an incredible number of monuments and projects from the Bolsheviks' past. The surrealistic idea behind them was to change the image of the city completely and to make it look like the main city of the New World. Among their ambitious projects were the most impressive metro system of the world, a grandiose All-Union Agricultural Exhibition (VDNH shortly) with gilded fountains and state-of-art pavilions and palaces representing country's republics and, of course, space exploration. On this tour, you will get acquainted with these Soviet miracles: we will marvel at some of the most beautiful metro stations, stroll around the Agricultural Exhibition that has been recently returned most of its glory and complemented with modern flower beds and recreational areas and, after the lunch break, we will learn about the Space Race during the visit of stunning Space Pavilion with a huge glass dome and rockets, satellites, spaceships and robots among the key exhibits. You will get to VDNKH by metro and you will return to the city centre by car.

If you want to get deeper into the space exploration theme, we recommend you to add a short visit of the Museum of Cosmonautics, located inside the Monument to the Conquerors of Space near the entrance to the Agricultural Exhibition. Its exposition contains the space capsule used by Yuri Gagarin and detailed information about the space program of the Soviet Union, its chief designer Sergei Korolev and other famous Soviet scientists and cosmonauts.
